School Site Council and English Learner Advisory Committee Meetings

The School Site Council (SSC) is a collaborative decision-making team composed of parents, teachers, school staff, and the principal. The council works together to support student achievement and school improvement by reviewing student data, identifying school needs, and developing, reviewing, and approving the School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA). The SSC also oversees the use of designated school funds to ensure resources are aligned with school goals and student needs. Through shared leadership and family involvement, the council helps ensure that all students have access to meaningful opportunities for academic success.

The English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) is a parent and family advisory group that supports the needs of students who are English Learners. ELAC provides families with opportunities to share their ideas and participate in decisions related to English Learner programs, services, and academic success. The committee reviews student achievement data, learns about school and district resources, and provides recommendations to the School Site Council. ELAC also promotes meaningful family engagement and helps strengthen communication and collaboration between families and the school.
